Vehicle characteristics

  • Power score (PS) — shows the abstract effectiveness of the assembled vehicle. The vehicle's PS value is equal to the sum of the PS of all parts installed on it.
  • "I" — list of used parts and their market value.
  • Durability — represents the maximum "health" of the vehicle. In battle, the vehicle's structure is displayed as a "health bar" at the bottom of the screen. Upon receiving damage, the structure decreases. When the value drops to zero, the player's vehicle is destroyed.
  • The number of parts — one of the factors limiting the player's capabilities when designing a combat vehicle is the limit on the number of parts.
  • Energy is the main resource of the vehicle, limiting its combat power. The available amount of energy is determined by the characteristics of the cabin and the additional equipment — generators. Almost all types of weapons and most equipment parts use this resource.
  • Machine weight is the total weight of all installed parts.
  • Maximum cabin speed — the maximum speed that an armoured car can reach. Depends on the cabin, engine and chassis.
  • Tonnage — the ratio of the current mass of the armoured car, tonnage (red dot) and maximum weight.
  • Acceleration — Displays the acceleration of the car. Depends on engine power and weight.

Factions

The player development system in Crossout is implemented using the so-called "factions".

  • In total, seven fractions are represented in the game: the neutral faction of the Engineers and six additional factions — Lunatics, Nomads, Scavengers, Steppenwolfs, Dawn's children and Firestarters.
  • When increasing the level of reputation with any faction, the player gets structure-class parts — bumpers, armour sheets, frame parts, etc. — which cannot be obtained in any other way. In addition, the Engineers faction rewards the player with new paints, portraits for the profile, increasing the maximum number of parts used in the design of vehicles, increasing the space in the storage, providing additional spaces in the garage and access to new functions: chat, exhibition, market, etc.
  • The reputation with the factions is given as a reward according to the results of the battle — the higher the combat effectiveness of the player, the more reputation he will receive. Using the parts of the Decor class, you can provide a bonus to the reputation received for each battle.

Crafting Parts

All parts in the game are divided into five categories according to the quality level with the corresponding colour designation:

  • Base — starting parts and all parts of the "Structure" class; characterized by being unavailable for purchase, sale, or crafting — issued in the form of rewards for increasing reputation with the factions.
  • Common — the simplest parts that a player can independently craft from scrap metal.
  • Rare — parts of medium quality, a rich assortment of weapons and equipment.
  • Epic — high-quality parts and the best equipment, cabins and chassis.
  • Legendary parts — have the best set of features.
  • Relic — parts of this rarity are significantly different from any other weapons in the game. At the moment, relic weapons are the rarest.

Players can build parts on their own. To create a new part you need coins to rent a workshop with the appropriate blueprint. You need to have a certain number of required parts specified in the blueprints in your storage.

Market

The Crossout market is a trading platform where players are given the opportunity to buy and sell any resources and parts (except for starting and "Structure" class parts, which are issued as a reward for increasing reputation levels among factions). At the same time, trading is conducted exclusively for coins, and the direct exchange of goods is not available.

Build mode

The main feature of Crossout is the ability to build your own combat vehicle.

  • The basis of any vehicle is the frame elements.
  • Any car needs one cabin. The cabin is always mounted only horizontally on top of frame elements.
  • Chassis parts can also be attached only directly to the frame and only on the sides of the machine.
  • Parts are considered to be connected if there is at least one connection point (a "welding spot").

Auto-assembly of armoured vehicles

Players also have the opportunity to quickly assemble an armoured car. The system will automatically select a random version of a vehicle that suits you from the pre-built blueprints made during the "New Faction Crafts" contest, from the parts that you have in stock.
The auto-assembly button is located to the right of the Leviathan slot. Next to it is a settings button that allows you to select the parts that must be included in the armoured car and the PS range.

  • The vehicle will be painted in random paint from those available in your storage.
  • The blueprint is saved in the player's slot, instead of the current one. We recommend that you save the blueprint of your armoured car before starting the auto-assembly system.
  • With the help of auto-assembly, it is impossible to assemble a Leviathan.

Blueprints

In order to save the most successful designs you can use the blueprints functionality — fixed 'snapshots' of cars in the garage, which can be downloaded at any moment. Saved blueprints are not bound to the contents of the garage or storage slots — each saved blueprint can use its own unrestricted pack of parts. Moreover, a blueprint does not cease to exist even after the sale or destruction of essential components — in this case the player just will not be able to load a saved blueprint in his garage in full.

Joining the battle

By clicking on the appropriate button — 'BATTLE' — on the main garage screen, the player is offered a choice of several types of combat missions:

  • Missions — fights against other players (PvP) in 8v8 teams.Opponent matching takes place on the basis of each player vehicle's Power Score. In case of shortage of players the spots are taken by AI-controlled robots.
  • Raids — players fighting against bots (PvE).
  • Brawls — players fight each other in battles without rules. The mode includes several types of battles: 'Free for All' (the first player with 10 kills wins). 'Storm warning' (the goal of the battle is to survive, which the opponents and the storm on the map are actively trying to prevent, driving into the storm immediately brings your chances of successful outcome of the fight to zero). 'Race' (your task is to be the first to drive through all checkpoints All installed guns will be deactivated).
  • Clanbattles — in this mode teams battle for a particularly valuable resource — uranium ore. Players are encouraged to create their own clan team of 4 people and fight with the enemy for the most valuable crafting resource.
